ALL'S FAIR IN WAR
Carelessly he ran through the narrow streets, ducking and diving through market stands, ignoring the abuse and profanities of their vendors as they angrily shook their fists. Only one thing was on his mind now. He had just one objective; to search every turn and darkened alleyway, never slowing his pace. He needed to find them. The game of hide and seek had begun.
Even at the tender age of eight he had come to know every single nook and cranny of this village. It made him the master at hide and seek. He knew all of the best spots.
He smiled a full red-cheeked smile as he ran with a spring in his step. The contented face you'd expect to see on a child's face playing his favorite game with his favorite friends. He knew exactly where they were. He was so sure. It delighted him to be so sure; he knew had this game all wrapped up.
